Transactions of the Association of European Schools of Planning, AESOP's new online open-access journal invites contributions to a Special Issue on "Planning for Dignity". 

Deadline for submission: 31st of October 2018.

We are pleased to announce that the AESOP Council of Representatives has ratified the ExCo Proposal to nominate Jan Schreurs (KU Leuven) and Abdelillah Hamdouch (Université de Tours) as the new AESOP Auditors (2018-2022).

On behalf of the whole AESOP community we would like to express our warmest congratulations to the new AESOP Officials! We are looking forward to a fruitfull collaboration.

The ratification was held at the CoRep Meeting in Newcastle, on April 19th 2018. 

AESOP would like to express a special acknowledgement to Louis Albrecht and Andreas Voigt, the first AESOP Auditors, who have shown an enormous dedication and competence in AESOP's financial auditing and whose advices have always proven to be very valuable.

AESOP is looking for candidates willing to host the 14th AESOP Heads of Schools Meeting in 2019.

The deadline for applications is the 20th of June, 2018.

The Election will take place in the CoRep Meeting in Gothenburg, on July 10, 2018.

The results of the elections in each country should be communicated to the Secretary General before June 15th 2018.

Polis PowerPlays is a recently-developed urban planning and development game aimed at teaching students and professionals the nuances of complex interactions and negotiations. Between 20 and 60 players can participate.

The School of Social Sciences (SSS) is recruiting a full professor to lead and grow its new subject area in Geography and Urban Planning. The subject area presently has three tenure-track faculty members, who are supported by a wider community of scholars at NTU with relevant research interests. This new subject area will equip graduates with the capability to critically address issues confronting contemporary societies and to creatively pursue possibilities for alternative urban futures.

The closing date for application is 15 June 2018.

This new book, written by Han Admiraal and Antonia Cornaro, deals with engineering and planning issues related to the planning, design and construction of underground space.
