AESOP is looking for candidates willing to organize the 13th AESOP Lecture Series in 2018.

The candidate has to be an Academic from an AESOP member institution.

Candidates are kindly asked to send their applications.

The School of Spatial Planning invites applications for a position as a researcher beginning from June 1st 2018 until November 30 2020.

The successful candidate will work in the DFG-funded project "Where are the jobs? Urban spatial structure and subcentering in an international comparison"

The Department of Human Geography and Spatial Planning has developed the challenging Research Programme ‘Urban Futures: Transitions Towards Economic and Social Sustainability for Cities’. In this Programme faculty members from different sub disciplines of Human Geography and Spatial Planning work closely together on topics like governance of urban transitions, smart urban governance, urban infrastructures, healthy urban living, urban inequalities and diversities, transnational mobilities, economic resilience and networks and flows in and between urban regions.

The University of Illinois at Chicago Department of Urban Planning and Policy will be hosting an international conference on participatory planning at UIC September 24-26, 2018.

The Ecole d’Urbanisme de Paris (Paris School of Urban Planning) offers an International master about Urban regeneration and city planning in Europe, taught in English.

This master aims to prepare graduate students for work on urban planning and other urban policy issues in both international organisations and in domestic organisations requiring expertise in international and/or European urban issues. During the year, students acquire strong conceptual, practical and methodological skills to understand and tackle the main challenges of European cities and metropolis.
