Dear All,
I’m pleased to call your attention to the Final Programme of the Lisbon Conference, in which we will be celebrating 30 years of our Association. The Programme is already available in the conference website.
Apart from the Plenary sessions with four most prestigious keynote speakers, and all the Parallel sessions, Roundtables and Mobile Workshops which makes this Programme quite rich and diversified, I would like to ask for your attention to the following two special events:
1. the Celebration of Klaus Kunzmann’s 75th birthday, and 50 years of his outstanding academic career, which will include an exhibition of his drawings in the Main Hall of the IST Central Building, and a special moment in the AESOP General Assembly (Thursday afternoon);
2. a dedicatory session on John Friedmann who recently died at the age of 91 (Wednesday, early afternoon).

The USI is currently looking for two full-time visiting scholars for a short term research stay at the University of Antwerp from 1 Octobre 2017. The selected scholars will be offered the opportunity to conduct their research at the USI and to participate at the institute’s research activities. They will be facilitated to 1° communicate their research plans and results to the interdisciplinary research community of the USI, 2° receive feedback from a select interdisciplinary group of scholars and 3° enter into an intensive dialogue with a broad range of disciplinary approaches.

The School of City and Regional Planning (SCaRP) at Georgia Tech invites applications for a one-year visiting faculty position with an expected start date of August 2017. The successful candidate will contribute to our teaching program in one or more of these curricular areas: planning methods, statistics, housing and community development, real estate development, transportation planning, spatial analytics.
