Her major areas of interest are urban conservation, designing development strategies for the historic part of the urban areas, and detailed physical design of outdoor space. Other fields of interest are, upgrading environmental quality, development planning and plan implementation, public participation in planning, architecture and urban planning education, technoparks and techno-cities.
