Chair for the Governance of Innovative and Complex Technological Systems

What are the challenges of new technologies in contemporary society? How should we govern complex technological systems and how do we foster innovation? How does society and technology co-evolve? The chair for Governance of Innovative and Complex Technological Systems, embedded within the Department of Political Science, focuses on such questions. The multi-disciplinary team is dedicated to finding answers to these questions.  Their research focuses on how complex technological systems operate, how these systems can help governance processes but also how these systems challenge such processes.
