All courses submitted have interesting and innovative features. University of Liverpool was selected because:

It is consistent with the prize topic since it focuses on global dynamics and current issues;

It presents an interesting overview of challenges of planning in an international perspective, introducing new references to other planning cultures;

It proposes the development of a "reflective approach" to the idea of internationalization, based on an effective interface of planning practice and implementation moving from European Planning to the International Level;
